Amy Hawthorne is excited to serve as Coordinator for Faith Formation of Children and Youth. She’s coordinating and collaborating on all things youth-related: from Baptism, First Bible distribution, and First Holy Communion to Sunday School, VBS and Youth Groups to assisting with ELCA Youth Gathering and ASP along with supporting community outreach events and Trinity Alive.
Amy grew up in Virginia but has lived in PA for over 20 years. She and her husband, 3 children and dog have been members of Trinity since 2014 and reside in Lansdale.
Before working at Trinity, Amy was a stay-at-home mom for 16 years. She prides herself with raising 3 very active children who all started their education at Trinity’s Preschool. Amy has always volunteered at their elementary school, dance studio, cub scout pack/boy scout troop, softball and archery teams, orchestra/chorus and band groups as well as youth group. Now, she gets to help grow Trinity through youth ministry.
In her spare time Amy enjoys baking and decorating cookies/cakes, sitting on her screened-in porch talking to out-of-town friends and family, listening to country music and walking.
