Pastor Jonathan began his call at Trinity in November 2023. Prior to that, he spent nine years in South Dakota, serving as a parish pastor then as Director for Evangelical Mission and as Associate to the Bishop for Stewardship & Outreach. He completed seminary at Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and was ordained in 2014. Bringing a passion for teaching, building a sense of community, and reimagining how a church can work, Pastor Jonathan is excited to equip us all to love & serve our neighbors. He firmly believes our theology as Lutheran Christians is Good News for the world, and invites us all to proclaim it!
Pastor Jonathan is married to Laura and has three children. Enjoying time outdoors, playing games, or sharing stories, he hopes that all people find joy in the world God has made. He also brings experience from several summers at Camp Lutherlyn in Western Pennsylvania and youth ministry at various-sized churches.
