After watching the video, discuss the following questions as a family:
- When has someone made a promise that you had trouble believing? What makes a person trustworthy or not?
- Do you think sometimes God is delayed in answering our prayers, or at least doesn’t answer them as fast as we want? Why would that be?
- God gave Abraham and Sarah an unbelievable promise, that they would have a child in their very old ages. They laughed at God. How would you react if God told you a promise like God gave to Abraham and Sarah?
- What is God’s good news for us today?
Say the following prayer or one of your own together: Dear God, thank you for your promises. Help us to believe in your good news for us, and to use our blessings to bless others. Amen.
