Volunteers play a pivotal role in supporting the staff, children/youth, and programs of Trinity Lutheran Church. We are very thankful that you have expressed an interest in volunteering at our church.
A TLC volunteer is defined as an individual who provides a service to children/youth, staff or TLC operations without compensation. All adult volunteers at Trinity Lutheran Church who will be responsible for a child’s welfare or will have direct volunteer contact with children on a regular and repeated basis will be required to have attended consistently and/or be a member of TLC for a minimum of 6 months AND submit the following clearances/certifications:

A total of three documents are required to volunteer with TLC.
A Trinity Lutheran Church Volunteer Affirmation form may be provided in lieu of the Report of Federal Criminal History (fingerprinting) for those volunteers who have lived continuously within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the last 10 years or individuals who have resided in Pennsylvania for less than 10 years but have obtained a federal fingerprint check at some point since they started residing in PA. Volunteers who have lived outside the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the last 10 years or who have not had a federal fingerprint check since moving into the Commonwealth will need to complete the Federal Criminal History (fingerprinting). In accordance with the Child Protective Services Law, all volunteers must obtain new clearances/certifications every 60 months.
Please submit the required documents in one packet to the church office listed below. Documents may also be personally presented for copying in the TLC office during office hours.
