Volunteering is a vital part of our community at Trinity, and there are many ways for you to get involved. Each team offers unique opportunities to serve and make a difference.
Volunteer in the Community
Adopt-a-Highway
Once a month on a Saturday morning this group volunteers to keep Valley Forge Road clean.
Code Blue Men's Shelter
During winter, Trinity and the community host a men’s shelter with a warm meal and a safe place to spend the night.
Disaster Relief
Caring for our neighbors in times of disaster is very important. This team spearheads the assembly of flood buckets and supports Lutheran agencies.
Prayer Chain
Join our prayer chain, Love LInks, or send us a prayer request! Over 60 people pray daily for others.
Prayer Shawl
This group of yarn stickers creates shawls to share God’s love and care with anyone in need.
Trinity Quilters
Wednesday, 1:00 pm, room 234 Trinity Quilters meet to tie quilts created. These quilts are donated to Church World Services during disasters and needs.
Help create a meaningful worship experience for all who gather. There are leadership roles that involve music, speaking, and even behind-the-scenes roles that involve preparing the space for worship, or providing technological help. Your contributions will enhance our Sunday services and bring our congregation closer together.
Learning Team
Passionate about teaching and guiding others? Our Learning Team is perfect for those who love to share their faith and knowledge. You can get involved by leading Sunday School classes, supporting our youth and young adult groups, helping during VBS, or participating in Adult Forum topics. Your efforts will help others grow in their faith.
Connect Team
The Connect Team focuses on building relationships and making everyone feel welcome at Trinity. Whether you enjoy greeting newcomers, helping with coffee hour, or assisting at special events, this team plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of belonging and community.
Care Team
Our Care Team is all about supporting and caring for members of our community and our neighbors. From visiting those who are homebound or in the hospital to knitting prayer shawls or simply offering a listening ear, this team is dedicated to showing compassion and love to those in need.
Facilities Team
If you enjoy hands-on work and keeping things running smoothly, consider joining our Facilities Team. This group is responsible for maintaining our church building and grounds, ensuring that everything is welcoming and functional for all who come through our doors.
Tech & Photo Team
If you have a knack for technology or photography, our Tech & Photo Team could use your skills! This team handles the audio-visual aspects of our worship services, manages live streaming, and captures the moments that make our church community special. Whether you’re experienced or willing to learn, your help will be greatly appreciated.
