Julie Kinzel

Julie moved to Lansdale in 1995 to assume the role of Wellness Director at the YMCA prior to changing careers to become a Physician Assistant (PA). Currently, she is the Program Director and Department Chair of the PA Program at Drexel University and on the faculty for 15 years. Her clinical work has been in long-term care, gastrointestinal and liver diseases and also works some weekends as a medical provider for the patients at Montgomery County Emergency Services acute psychiatric inpatient facility in Norristown. Trinity has been her church family since 2001 when she lived right across the street.
Now she lives in Skippack with Amy Smith (also a Trinity member) who is currently completing the last few months of seminary with the hope of serving as an ordained Lutheran minister in the next year. They have 2 dogs and a cat who basically tell them what to do. At Trinity, she served on council and as co-president of council in the past. She has chaired a call committee, served as eucharistic minister, and been involved with the safety committee and Trinity’s former Health Ministry committee. She is an assisting minister, communion assistant, Baptism class facilitator, a Code Blue volunteer and currently on the Racial Justice ministry committee. Trinity is truly vital and an important part of so many lives that she’s looking forward to an opportunity to be part of Trinity’s lay leadership on council.
